Clear weather ahead for Vaishno Devi, no more snow

The hills of North India have observed a snowy January so far. In fact, several popular hill stations of North India including Srinagar, Shimla, Manali, and Nainital have witnessed heavy snow making them look like a wintry wonderland.

Vaishno Devi has been witnessing rainy weather for the past few days. So much so that the holy shrine in the hills of North India was covered in a crisp white blanket of snow, nothing less than a treat for the pilgrims.

These weather conditions were attributed to the presence of back to back Western Disturbances which were resulting in heavy rainfall along with snow in Jammu and Kashmir as well as other parts of the hills of North India.

However, now, the weather conditions are expected to clear up and the snow show and rainfall activity will take a backseat. The Western Disturbance which was giving good rains and snow over the hills is now moving away.

Sunny days will take over and weather conditions will once again become dry. However, for the next 48 hours or so, winter chill will continue to be present. Until the next Western Disturbance approaches, which is not anytime soon, weather will remain dry.
