Chennai rains have remained far and few for the past few days. So much so that the city did not receive good rains at all for quite some time.
In fact, the last time the city did receive some good rains was on June 24. Thereafter, the city only managed to record a few traces of rain and that too during the end of June. The month of July began on a dry note for Chennai as no rains were recorded during the first three days of the month.
