Light showers are likely over Chennai tomorrow
At this time last year Chennai was unbelievably rain drenched, and even this year the cyclone Nada almost came close to drop some heavy rain over the region. But instead of a flooding situation, Chennai did get its fair share of rainfall as the weather system passed on.
And by looking at the weather formation post the passage of cyclone Nada, chances of light rain cannot be missed out for tomorrow.

These winds form convective clouds over the region, which are bound to drop some rainfall over North Tamil Nadu. So, during the latter half of the day tomorrow, isolated one or two places in the city of Chennai may receive. These rains will be very patchy in nature and one a few areas of the city will witness rain activity.
So for the month of December, Chennai has received 73 mm of rainfall in just 4 days. But the normal average rainfall for the city of Chennai is 191.1 mm for the month of December. We just have to wait and see how the actual rainfall figure stands up to the normal rainfall figures.
