All these weather activities will be responsible for drenching the so-called ‘Gateway of South India’ for the next 2 days. Though the sky will become cloudy, humid weather is anticipated to prevail over the city. Apart from Chennai, these rains are likely to pace up along the East Coast including the northern parts of Tamil Nadu as well.
It is expected that rainfall activity may also increase along the East Coast preferably over Northern parts of Tamil Nadu as well.
As Chennai will be hosting the first ODI between India and Australia, these rains may hamper the game of the Titans. Though as the rains will be of a shorter duration, a complete spoilsport is not foreseen.
