A cyclonic circulation is persisting over southern parts of Tamil Nadu. Easterly waves are also gaining strength. Thus, scattered rains are expected over south and central parts of Tamil Nadu. Light rainfall activity is also expected over Chennai.
These rainfall activities are expected to occur on February 6 as well as 7. Thereafter, weather will become dry over the region.
Due to these rainfall activities over Chennai, the maximum temperature is expected to observe a marginal drop. Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures will witness a slight increase. However, major change in temperatures may not be seen over the region.
