Though as the day progresses, the weather will start clearing up and a bright sunny afternoon is what is expected to prevail. The maximums are likely to remain between 22 and 23 degrees Celsius while the minimums may fall up to 6 or 7 degrees making the nights cold
Mumbai: The city that is claimed to never be sleeping is expected to welcome the first day of the upcoming year with a pleasant morning. Sky is likely to remain clear, but the day may turn out to be warm. The day time high is likely to settle around 31 or 32 degrees Celsius while the nights across the entertainment capital of the country will be cool with the temperatures ranging in 15-16 degrees Celsius. Thus, Mumbaikars may brace for cool and pleasant morning and nights along with comfortable afternoons.
Chennai: For Chennaiities, the weather during New Year’s Eve and the very first day of 2018 may begin on a comfortable note. Though the sky is likely to remain partly cloudy to cloudy. Day across the so-called healthcare capital of the country will be warm with the maximums settling in upper 30’s. The nights will remain comfortable with the temperatures settling in upper 20’s.
Bengaluru: The New Year’s Day in Bengaluru may start with a pleasant and comfortable morning. Sky across the so-called Silicon Valley of India may remain clear and sunny. The maximum temperatures of the city are likely to remain between 26 and 27 degrees Celsius. While the nights will remain cold with the minimum temperatures settling in upper teens.
Kolkata: The weather of Kolkata on December 31, 2017 and January 1, 2018 is likely to remain slightly warm. The sky will remain totally clear and sunny. The maximums may settle around 27 degrees Celsius while the minimums may settle around 15 degrees Celsius. The nights across the so-called City of Joy will continue to remain cool and pleasant.
Hyderabad: The city of Nawabs may bid adieu to the last day of the year with mist or haze in mornings that is likely to continue the first day of the year as well. The day time high across the City of Pearls may remain around 29 degrees Celsius and the night lows may remain close to 14 degrees Celsius. Pleasant and cool nights is expected to prevail.
Goa: New Year is celebrated with immense joy and pleasure in Goa. The weather across the well-termed party capital of the country is likely to remain warm. The daytime high is likely to remain around 33 degrees Celsius. Mainly clear sky is likely to prevail with a comfortable and pleasant night with minimums settling in lower teens.
