The state of Haryana has been seeing dry weather conditions. So much so that the region has been recording temperatures slightly higher than the normal levels. However, the dry spell over at least some parts of the country is expected to come to an end as rain gods are likely to make an appearance.

During the next 24 hours, eastern parts of Haryana adjoining Delhi and the NCR region are likely to witness a few good spells of rain. Light to moderate rains with isolated heavy showers may occur over some areas. Meanwhile, weather conditions will not be as intense in the western parts of the state with the possibility of light rains in isolated pockets only.

These upcoming weather conditions will be attributed to the presence of a well-marked low-pressure area which is presently over northern parts of Madhya Pradesh. This system is expected to move in a northerly direction towards southwestern parts of Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, a Western Disturbance is also seen over Himachal Pradesh and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir.
