The clear weather in Delhi is about to change as there are chances of rain in the city in next 24 to 48 hours. According to our meteorologists, moisture incursion is likely to take place from the cyclonic circulation off Saurashtra coast in the Arabian Sea which is working in tandem with a fresh Western Disturbance over the Western Himalayan region. As the cyclonic circulation will move northeastwards, there will be chances of light rain in Delhi in some areas.
With this the minimum temperatures that were below normal by almost 5°C will witness a sharp rise to make nights and early morning hours a little warm and comfortable. Delhi recorded a minimum of 5.6°C on Thursday which is now expected to rise by 4-5 notches if clouds gain ground. But daytime in Delhi may become cold as maximum temperatures are expected to drop during the next two days.
Delhi recorded a maximum of 21.4°C on Wednesday but due to clouding, the day temperatures may observe a drop in the next two days. The wind conditions in Delhi will also change from southerly to northerly, making the weather in the city humid.
