Very warm and uneasy weather is prevailing over Delhi and NCR during the last few days. However, one or two places like Gurugram, Noida and Ghaziabad have managed to receive some light rainfall activity.

The reason for this very warm and humid weather can be attributed to the absence of any significant weather system over the region.
However, some hope lies in the fact that soon some weather could be in the cooking for Delhi NCR.
Presently, the western end of Axis of Monsoon Trough is passing across central parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Also, a feeble Western Disturbance is moving at higher latitudes. Easterly moist winds are blowing continuously at lower levels.
Thus, due to the local weather conditions, light rains and thundershowers might occur at one or two places over Delhi and NCR today. Similar weather conditions are likely to continue during the next three to four days with chances of light spells. Sky conditions will remain partly cloudy throughout.
The day however will continue to remain very warm and humid. Night however will be comfortable.
