Central and East India all set for pleasant weather

Due to the absence of any significant weather system, both Central and East India have been under the influence of dry weather conditions for quite some time. Though the weather is cool but both the regions are free from witnessing the extreme winter chills.

However, temperatures across West Madhya Pradesh have reduced by 3 to 4 degrees in last 24 hours. At present, the trend of plummeting temperatures has covered the entire state of Madhya Pradesh, adjoining Vidarbha and most parts of Chhattisgarh. The reason for this can be attributed to the cold and dry northwesterly winds that have started penetrating over these regions.

In fact, in the last 24 hours, both minimums and maximums have reduced significantly by 3-5 degrees over entire Central India.

As per Skymet Weather, now, a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region by the evening of February 7 onwards. This is expected to curtail down the wind speed of the prevailing north westerlies. Therefore, temperatures across West Madhya Pradesh are once again expected to witness a marginal rise after 24 hours.

But, East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are expected to witness further fall in temperatures. Gradually, other states of the Eastern parts of the country like East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Interior Odisha are also likely to follow the suit.

Temperatures across East India which are currently above normal are likely to witness a drop by 3 to 4 degrees in next 24-48 hours. Though eastern regions of the country are predicted to witness decreasing temperatures, the shivery winter chills are still not likely to be felt.

Hence, in a nutshell, both Central and East India are likely to witness pleasant weather conditions.
