As far as Uttar Pradesh is concerned, more than 2500 villages in 24 districts have been affected over the state. As per reports, in the affected areas, of East Uttar Pradesh, around 39,000 people have taken shelter in relief camps.

Relief and rescue operations continue in full swing in Uttar Pradesh. Also, army choppers and the NDRF teams have also been assisting enough to ease out the situation. However, due to rain activities, there have been slight hindrances in the rescue operations.

Now, rains will reduce over both the states of Bihar as well as Uttar Pradesh. Thus, there may be slight improvement in the flooding conditions over both these states. However, complete relief will not be seen for quite some time.
