And likely so, at present a trough can be marked extending over the coastal parts of Orrisa. Due to this, the state and its coast line has received rain accompanied with thundershower activities. These rains have been continuing straight for the last 48 hours now. Major cities observing these rains include Baripada, Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Chandbali and Paradip among the few.
As the trough seems to persist over the area the same activity is likely to continue today as well accompanied with lightning and gusty winds. This activity will further take a total of 48 hours to recede finally.
As the trough is gradually going to pass, the rains will get confided and decrease in intensity over the time.
Meanwhile, the interior parts of Odisha are likely to face a rise in temperatures and warm weather will prevail over these parts. Mornings will be mostly hazy and covered in mist. Afternoon at the same time, will be warm and humid.
