Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior to witness dry weather conditions

On July 3 and 4, heavy to very heavy rains were witnessed over several parts of northeastern districts of Madhya Pradesh especially in places like Satna, Damoh, Rewa and Sidhi.  In the last 24 hours, dry weather conditions were prevailing over East and West Madhya Pradesh. Now, the almost dry and warm weather conditions will continue to persist over these regions for the next four to five days.

Since the span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Malanjkhand recorded 15 mm of rainfall, Sidhi 12 mm, Umaria 3.4 mm, Satna 1 mm, Khajuraho 0.8 mm and Nowgong 0.6 mm.

At present, East and West Madhya Pradesh are near normal surplus with minor deficiency of 3%, each.

According to Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation is likely to form over Chhattisgarh and adjoining East Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, scattered rains are likely to pick up the pace over the districts of Madhya Pradesh. Thereafter, the intensity of rains over the districts of East and West Madhya Pradesh may increase significantly by July 13 and 14 onwards.

Meanwhile, by July 15 onwards light showers will once again commence over several districts of eastern and western parts of Madhya Pradesh. So until then, dry weather conditions will prevail over many parts of Madhya Pradesh for the next four to five days.
