Bengaluru has been observing weak Monsoon conditions for quite some time now. In fact the interior parts of South peninsula are more or less dry. The cyber city has been receiving isolated rains which are highly localized and of light intensity.

The weather remains comfortable over Bengaluru with partly cloudy sky throughout the day that even leads to light drizzles in a few localities. However, no major change in the weather activity is foreseen in the coming days as well.
These weather conditions can be attributed to the absence of any significant weather system over the region. In the past 24 hours from 08:30 am on Tuesday, the garden city has just recorded few traces of rainfall.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, until and unless an active weather feature develops over or near the region such as cyclonic circulation or a low pressure area over Southeast Arabian sea or Bay of Bengal, rains will not pick up pace over the city and nearby regions.
Not only this, even if a north-south trough extends from the central parts of the country up to Tamil Nadu across South Interior Karnataka, there could be probabilities of good rains over the region. But as of now, chances of any such system remain bleak.
