Bengaluru is all set to record another spell of pre-Monsoon rain and thundershowers on Wednesday. Rain bearing clouds have already developed over the city and rains or thundershowers may begin anytime soon.

According to Skymet Weather, a trough is running from Vidarbha region of Maharashtra up to Comorin region across Telangana, South Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The trough has been infusing moisture over the state capital, which has made weather conditions conducive for rain activity.

Though the rains will bring some relief from the hot weather but the relief would be a momentary one and would not have any impact over the day maximums.

The day temperature will continue to settle above normal around 35°C or 36°C. As per weathermen, these pre-Monsoon rains generally occur during the late afternoon or evening hours and by then, day maximums have already peaked.

Further, we can expect more pre-Monsoon activities for the next two days but they will be confined to latter part of the day only. Thereafter, the trough will become insignificant and so does the rainfall activity.

So far, Bengaluru has recorded of 21.8 mm rainfall, as compared to the monthly average rainfall of 41.5 mm.
