Bengaluru is once again experiencing dry weather with no rains for past 10 days. The month of September is the rainiest month for Bengaluru followed by October.
In the month of October, the average rainfall is about 168.3mm and till now it has received only 111.7mm of rainfall. We are at the end of this month and we don’t see rains in the remaining days as well. Thereby, the month of October will end on a deficit note only.
As per Skymet Weather, the month of November will bring good rains in Bengaluru. The Northeast Monsoon is also expected to settle in by the first week of November.
The city is situated in the southeast part of South Interior Karnataka. It is situated in the heart of Mysore Plateau at an average elevation of 900 meters above the sea level.
The weather in Bengaluru is generally pleasant. In comparison to it’s neighborhood areas, this city experiences much cooler weather. Despite of no rains in past 10 days, the weather has been extremely pleasant.
These days, the maximums are in its higher 20s, whereas the minimums are in its higher teens. The inhabitants have been experiencing mild chilly nights as well.
In the month of November, the city usually tends to experience fog as well. There would be rains in the coming month and this would lead to an increased level of humidity, thereby leading to formation of fog. Thick fog would be seen that too for a short span in early morning hours only. Mild winters start in this city November onwards.
