Bengaluru to remain dry for the next few days

Good rains over Bengaluru have remained in hiding for quite a few times now. Also, the intensity of rains over coastal parts of Karnataka has also remained subdued. Whereas, the interior regions of the state had recorded a good amount of rainfall activities. Presently, the state, as well as Bengaluru, have been undergoing under mainly warm and dry weather conditions.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, no significant weather system is seen prevailing over the state. Therefore, the city will continue to witness a diminishing trend in the rainfall activities. Though a few spells of scattered showers cannot be ruled out in the next 24 hours. However, these rains will not be largely intense in nature.

Further, the weather conditions over coastal belts of Karnataka will continue to remain mainly dry. For the next few days, pleasant morning and nights are likely to prevail over the city. The day temperatures are likely to touch 30 degree Celsius mark. However, the afternoons are expected to remain comfortable.

As on September 19, the sub-divisional rainfall distribution statistics show that Bengaluru is rain surplus by 42%.
