Bengaluru rains had remained in hiding for a really long time. The only rains that the city was able to receive was very light showers or mere traces of rainfall. In fact, in the past five days, Bengaluru only witnessed traces of rainfall.

However, the last 24 hours were slightly different and Bengaluru recorded some light rains with isolated spells of moderate rains. In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Bengaluru recorded a good 9 mm of rainfall.
These weather conditions were attributed to the off-shore trough which is running along the West Coast from Gujarat Coast up to Kerala region. Due to this, moisture incursion has been taking place over the region resulting in some good spells of rainfall over the city of Bengaluru.

The weather conditions also remained quite pleasant over the city of Bengaluru as maximum temperatures settled at 26.6 degrees which happened to be a notch below the normal levels. Meanwhile, the minimum settled at 20.6 degrees which was a degree above the average temperature.
As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, the city of Bengaluru will continue to witness light rainfall activity with one or two moderate spells of rain. Temperatures will be close to normal levels with the weather conditions remaining pleasant.
