The city of Bengaluru has been witnessing good weather conditions for the past few days. While rains have not been in abundance, on and off Pre-Monsoon activity has kept the temperatures to remain just a little above normal levels.

The last efw days have been less rainy for the city and only a few isolated spells over some parts of the capital city of Karnataka have been recorded. During the last 24 hours, isolated rainfall activity was observed over Bengaluru.

At present, a cyclonic circulation persists over Northwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas. Not only this, a trough is extending from this system up to North Interior Karnataka across Vidarbha and Marathwada.

This weather system is expected to bring in some rain and thundershowers for the city of Bengaluru. Not only this, the adjoining city of Mysore is also likely to witness a spell or two of rain and thundershower activity.

Due to this, the upcoming IPL match between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Kolkata Knight Riders which is scheduled today may also be affected.

These rainfall activities are expected during the late afternoon/evening hours. Due to the upcoming Pre-Monsoon activities, the temperatures are expected to witness a marginal drop. In fact, the mercury may even drop a notch or two below the normal levels.
