The city of Bengaluru does not receive a lot of rain during the Southwest Monsoon season as compared to the rainfall recorded during the Northeast Monsoon season.

While the month of July remains the core Monsoon month for most part of the country, Bengaluru only records 112. 9 mm rainfall during this month.

Even more so, the city has recorded a mere 47 mm of rain until July 18 this year during the month of July.

As far as the pre-Monsoon rainfall activities are concerned, Bengaluru recorded some hefty showers during that period.

However, in the Monsoon season this time, rains have been just about normal for the city of Bengaluru.

The good news is that since the past week or more, Bengaluru has been recording light rainfall activity almost every day.

The maximum temperature has been hanging in the mid twenties and the minimum are settling in the late teens.

Thus, Bengaluru has once again regained its present weather crown and similar weather is expected to continue over the city.

As per Skymet Weather, for at least the coming week rainfall activity will remain light over Bengaluru with isolated moderate showers on a couple of occasions. Pleasant Bengaluru will continue with the streak of lower temperature and light rain.
