Bengaluru weather has been rainy enough for the residents for quite some time now. In fact, the city has been observing rainy weather. During the last 24 hours, many parts of the city have recorded good rains.

In fact, in a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, the Bengaluru Airport recorded a good 24 mm of rainfall while the city witnessed about 10 mm of rainfall. These rains were attributed to the presence of a trough running in proximity of the capital city of Karnataka.

While these rains were welcomed by the residents of Bengaluru, cricket fans were disappointing enough for them. The eliminator between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Kolkata Knight Riders was to be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Rain gods did play spoilsport over the match. While the Sunrisers were able to play the 20-over game and could only score 128 runs, the KKR had to wait and only 6 overs were in their fate. However, the Knight Riders made full use of it and came out as victors.

Rain activity is expected to continue today as well. In fact, the possibility of a few spells of rain also cannot be ruled out tomorrow. Thus, the Qualifier 2 between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders to be played tomorrow in Bengaluru may be affected as well.
