According to weathermen, rain bearing thunderclouds have been hovering the city and rains can begin anytime soon. With this, weather has gone extremely pleasant, with day maximum hovering around 27°C.

A trough can be seen running North Chhattisgarh to South Tamil Nadu which is passing through South Interior Karnataka. In addition to this, two Cyclonic circulations can be seen prevailing over the region, one over Southwest Bay of Bengal and the second one over North Coastal Karnataka and adjoining Konkan & Goa.

With this, light to moderate rains are expected to continue over many parts of Karnataka including Bengaluru. To be precise, the state capital is expected to record good rains for the next 2 days.
Thereafter, as the systems will weaken, weather activity will reduce but rains of varying intensity will continue. In fact, weathermen are of the view that rains will continue to make an appearance for at least next one week and dry spell is not anticipated.
The garden city has been recording rains of varying intensity on every single day since the beginning of September. Bengaluru has recorded 209.6 mm of rain in the first eight days of the month itself.
