As per Skymet Weather, light to moderate rains may continue over the garden city for at least next two to three days. A few areas of Bengaluru could also witness intense showers of short duration during the same time frame.
The reason behind these post Monsoon showers can be attributed to two cyclonic circulations, one over east central Arabian Sea and the other over east central Bay of Bengal. From the latter system, extends a trough up to South Interior Karnataka. With influence of these weather systems, rains have paced up in South Interior Karnataka including Bengaluru.
