Bengaluru rains have once again begun to make appearances with the capital city of Karnataka witnessing good showers a day before. In fact, the city did record light rains with isolated moderate showers in the past 24 hours as well.
In a span of 24 hours, the city observatory of Bengaluru recorded 9 mm of rainfall. Not only this, the airport observatory also witnessed 6 mm of rains. This means that these rains were widespread in nature.

These rains can be attributed to the wind shear. Not only this, a trough is also extending from west central Bay to Southwest Arabian Sea across North Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka.

Now, Bengaluru is all set to witness even more rains in the coming days. In fact, these showers are expected to be more intense than they were before this. During the next 24 hours, the city of Bengaluru is expected to witness good rains of moderate to heavy in intensity. These rainfall activities will be widespread and many parts of the city will witness good rains in the coming days.
Thereafter, on Thursday, i.e. September 28, Bengaluru is expected to witness light to moderate rains with a few intense spells of rains as well. Thus, these rains may prove to be a hindrance for the upcoming match between India and Australia, scheduled to be played on Thursday, September 28 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
