The city, which is famous for its pleasant weather, is nowadays witnessing day maximums in mid 30s. Sun shines bright throughout the day. Even evenings do not see much relief, as minimums are too settling in mid 20s.

The city usually experiences short durations of weather activities in terms of rains. But now, weather systems are building up. Currently, a depression is over Southeast Arabian Sea and a trough is also extending from Konkan Coast to Coastal Karnataka. Due to this, moist winds from the Arabian Sea will blow over the region. Thus, the city will be experiencing prolonged rain and thundershower activities which will be lasting for next 3 days.

Rains have already begun in Bengaluru as the city saw traces of rainfall during the last 24 hours. These rains are expected to continue till March 17. Mainly light to moderate rains are expected but a few heavy spells can be seen on March 16.

Therefore, comfortable weather conditions during the both days and nights would return to the city. For the upcoming days day temperatures are expected to drop. Maximum temperatures will settle below 30 and the minimums will be around 20.
