During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Saturday, rainfall activity witnessed a reduction, but traces of rainfall were witnessed over the city. Due to these rainfall activities, the city of Bengaluru has also surpassed its monthly mean which stands at a mere 18.5 mm for the month of March.

With these rainfall activities, temperatures have also witnessed quite a drop and the maximum settled below the 30-degree mark at 29.1 degrees Celsius. Minimums on the other hand crossed 20-degrees at 20.3 degrees Celsius.

These rainfall activities occurred due to a trough which has been extending from Southwest Bay of Bengal up to Andhra Pradesh. Also, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over Southeast Arabian Sea from which a trough has been extending up to South Coastal Karnataka.

Thus, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, light to moderate rainfall activity is expected to continue over the garden city of India for another 24 to 36 hours. With this, maximum temperatures will remain in the comfortable range.
