Monsoon rains have been drenching Bengaluru for the last couple of days. In fact, in a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Thursday, Airport Observatory has recorded 10 mm of rain, while the city observatory received 4 mm of rain.
According to Skymet Weather, these ongoing rains can be attributed to a trough that is seen extending from Rayalaseema to Comorin area across Interior Tamil Nadu. With this, humid winds have reached the city, leading to the development of thunderclouds over the city.

Weathermen predict that more spells of light to moderate rains are expected to lash Bengaluru for the next 3-4 days. Sky conditions will remain cloudy to overcast throughout the day. This will pave for the pleasant weather conditions over the city, especially during the evenings and morning hours.
