Bengaluru rains of varying intensity have been lashing the state capital of Karnataka for the past two to three days or so. While a couple of days saw moderate showers, one day witnessed hefty rains of 53 mm while a day of light rainfall was also observed over the IT Hub. Over a 100 mm of rain was recorded during these four days.
The last 24 hours were also rainy enough with the city recording a good 32 mm of rainfall. Due to these rainfall activities, temperature profile has also been affected with the maximums settling in the late 20s while the minimums were recorded at about 20 degrees Celsius or so.
In fact, the month of September has been a good month so far wherein the city has been able to record 225 mm of rainfall against its monthly average of 212.8 mm.
As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, rainfall activity is expected to continue over the city of Bengaluru. Moreover, due to the upcoming rains, the figures may improve to a good 250 mm when the month ends. Temperatures are also expected to remain settling in the late 20s only resulting in pleasant weather conditions over the state capital.
