Bengaluru rains have been playing the Tom and Jerry game for quite some time now. While cloudy weather did come up, and light rains did make an appearance over some parts of the city, however, no significant rainfall has been witnessed over the city. During the last 24 hours also, traces of rains were recorded over the garden city but nothing significant was witnessed.
As far as the temperatures are concerned, the maximums are currently at the normal levels. Minimums on the other hand, are a notch below the normal levels. However, a drop in the mercury levels is expected as scattered rain and thunderstorm activity is expected over the city of Bengaluru today.
These weather conditions will be attributed to the presence of a trough which is running from Coastal Andhra Pradesh up to Tamil Nadu across Rayalaseema. Not only this, moisture incursion is also expected to take place from both the Arabian Sea as well as Bay of Bengal.
Today, the garden city of India is expected to witness a few spells of thunderstorm and rainfall activity during the next few hours. These weather activities are expected to continue over the city throughout the day. However, the activity will be patchy in nature.
As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, these rainfall activities are also expected to continue tomorrow as the prevalent weather features will remain where they are.
