Bengaluru rains have been absent from the city for the past two days. While cloudy weather does persist over parts of the garden city during the evening hours. Rain gods have been shying away since May 14 when the city witnessed 3 mm of rainfall.

Due to the absence of any weather activity over the capital city of Karnataka in the last 48 hours or so, the mercury has begun to rise over the city. While the maximum temperature remained at 33 degrees a day ago, yesterday, it settled at a whopping 36.4 degrees which happens to be at least three notches above the normal levels.

However, it seems rain gods have once again decided to cut Bengaluru some slack and give the city what it has been craving for. Bengaluru is all set to witness a spell of good rain and thundershower activity today and tomorrow.

These weather conditions will be attributed to a trough which is currently running from North Coastal Andhra Pradesh to South Tamil Nadu across the Karnataka region. With this, some rain and thundershower activity is expected to occur over Bengaluru and its adjoining areas.
