Bangalore weather may have been a tad bit better after good showers lashed the silicon city of India on April 24. The city received 21 mm of rain that day and mercury witnessed a sharp drop after the rainy spell.
While April 23 recorded the hottest day ever recorded during the month of April at 39.2 degrees. However, mercury dropped to 37.1 degrees the very next day. Thereafter, temperatures have been settling between 35 and 36 degrees.
But, with the absence of thundershowers, temperatures have once again witnessed a rising trend. On April 29, temperature once again reached the 37 degree resulting in hotter conditions. With no rains in sight for at least 48 hours, temperatures may witness an increase once again.
So much so that minimums in Bangalore have also been settling about 2 to 3 degrees above the normal levels. In fact, the morning temperature is just a notch away from reaching the 25 degree mark. During the next 48 hours, minimums will also witness a rise.
However, Pre-Monsoon showers will make an appearance over Bangalore during the first week of May. In fact, light rain is expected between May 3 and 5. Until then, the residents of Bangalore will continue to witness sizzling temperatures.
