rain in bangaloreAfter several hours of thunder and lightning in Bangalore, it finally started raining few hours back in the city.

On Sunday as well, the city had received a whopping 47.7 mm of rain. After this spell of rain, the city had recorded a good 80 mm of rain, against the monthly average of 89.1 mm.

As of now, we can expect on and off rains to continue over the city. In fact, Monsoon 2016 has officially entered Kerala now. The Monsoon line or the NLM (Northern Limit of Monsoon) is passing through Latitude 12°N/ Longitude 60°E, Latitude 12°N/ Longitude 70°E, Kannur, Chennai, Latitude 14°N/ Longitude 84°E, Latitude 17°N/ Longitude 92°E and Latitude 18°N/ Longitude 94°E.
