Bangalore rains have been giving that much needed relief from hot weather conditions. While the city remained hot throughout the month of April with very little rain over the silicon city, May performed fairly well with good rains lashing the silicon city at regular intervals.
In fact, during the month of May, Bangalore had already surpassed its monthly average rains around May 19. The city has received about 140 mm of rain in May against the monthly average of 110.2 mm. The city also recorded a whopping 47 mm of rain on one occasion which was the highest this month.
During the past few days, on and off rains have been lashing Bangalore resulting in comfortable weather conditions. Currently, the maximum in the garden city stands at 31.2 degrees which is below the normal levels.
On May 30, while most parts of Bangalore did not received rain, good showers were observed over South Bangalore. These rains can be attributed to the change in wind pattern.
Now, during the next few days, Bangalore will continue to receive on and off rains with varied intensity. Both maximum and minimum temperatures will continue to settle in the comfortable range keeping the weather conditions pleasant.
