Though, city has recorded drop in maximum temperature by one degree but we expect it to increase again on Saturday.
At 10:30 am, mercury had already reached 35°C and we expect maximum temperature to settle around 37°C or above.

On Friday, Bangalore had recorded day maximum of 36.5°C, which was three degrees above normal. Minimum temperatures was also three degrees above normal at 25.4°C.

According to Skymet Weather, slight drop in temperature was due to the cloudy sky on account of a north-south trough extending from North Interior Karnataka up to Comorin are across interiors of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

This trough is a semi-permanent feature during pre-Monsoon season, which keeps oscillating from east to west and vice-versa.
