Bangalore weather has been wreaking havoc over the residents for the past few days. Temperatures have been sky high, throwing life out of gear in the silicon valley of India. So much so that on April 24, Bangalore recorded its highest maximum ever during the month of April.

Rains have remained almost absent from Bangalore. While the city received 21 mm rain on April 25 and 5 mm on April 5, these rains were not intense enough to bring down the maximums and minimums for a prolonged period.

However, now things are about to take a fortunate turn for the residents residing in blazing Bangalore. The sizzling capital is all set to become pleasant again. Pre-Monsoon showers are about to lash Bangalore during the next few days.

The wind discontinuity currently can be seen from Vidarbha to South Interior Karnataka across Telangana and North interior Karnataka. Also, moisture incursion from both the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal will increase over the Interior Peninsula leading to cloud formation.

These conditions will result in Pre-Monsoon showers between May 3 and May 7. On and off rains will continue over the city. While the intensity will be on the lighter end on May 3 and 4, by May 5, the thundershower intensity may increase over Bangalore.

These rains may bring the maximums close to the normal levels or even below the average range. As compared to April, May is likely to be much better both in terms of temperatures and rains.
