Multiple areas in Britain are already facing floods due to torrential rains past week. As per the weather forecast, there’s even more to come starting next week as a new Low Pressure Area seems to be building over the Atlantic Ocean and might induce heavy downpour allover Britain.
Many parts of Britain are already under a foot of floodwater. Already northern England and Wales saw some heavy rains on Saturday morning. Similar rains are forecast for Sunday over the same area.
A new Low Pressure Area will bring more rains on Tuesday, next week giving rise to flood like situation across multiple parts of the country.
Not just the rains, snow will bring another edge to the deep crater. Along with the rains, diving temperatures and strong winds will create a problem for the residents. The mercury will dip to around -5°C in Scotland and northern England, while in the southern parts these might dip to -2°C.
Higher altitudes are sure to see more snow mid-week as cold air blows over the region.
Long-range forecasts predict a risk of heavier and more widespread snowfall through the rest of the month and into December. Current indications suggest a possible white Christmas in the north and west parts of the country. Cities like that of Aberdeen and Manchester could also see snow.
