Hyderabad Weather

The city of Hyderabad has been witnessing temperatures above the 35-degree mark for the past 10 days or so, which is considered to be normal during this time of the year. However, there has been a constant increase in the mercury levels for Hyderabad as days passed by.

A day before, the maximum temperature in the city of Nizams had settled at 38.5 degrees Celsius which happens to be two degrees above the normal levels. Thereafter, yesterday, the maximum temperature rose even further and settled at 39.7 degrees Celsius, which happens to be three degrees above the normal levels as well as the highest of the season. The minimum temperature was also recorded two notches above the usual at 24.9 degrees Celsius.

The reason for such weather conditions over the city of Hyderabad and its adjoining areas of Telangana can be attributed to the warm southeasterly winds blowing over the region. Along with this, the absence of any weather system over the region has resulted in clear and sunny weather conditions, causing the heat to increase.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, similar weather pattern is expected to prevail over the city for the next two days as well. There are chances of thunderstorm on April 1 and 2, but temperature profile is not expected to see much change.
