The city of Hyderabad had seen some very light Pre Monsoon rains about three days ago. Thereafter, rainfall activity took a backseat over the city. As far as the temperatures are concerned, they have been settling above the normal levels.

A day before, the maximum temperature at Hyderabad settled at a whopping 38.3 degrees Celsius resulting in uneasy conditions for the residents of the capital city of Telangana. In fact, yesterday was all the hotter for Hyderabad as the maximum temperature settled at 39.2 degrees which is two degrees above the normal levels.
The current maximum is also the highest of the season, indicating that scorching summer heat has started to grip the city of Hyderabad and its adjoining areas tight enough.
The reason for such increase in maximums can be attributed to the northwesterly winds which are blowing over the region. These winds are warm in nature, along with which no significant weather system has been affecting the city of Hyderabad.
Thus, weather is expected to remain extremely hot and dry over the Biryani City resulting in more uneasiness and discomfort. During the next two to three days, the temperature may also reach the 40-degree mark resulting in further discomfort.
