But is the weather during the swearing-in ceremony going to be as pleasant and warm? According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, the day temperature on Saturday is going to hover around 26°C, making the weather really warm.
The Oath taking ceremony of Arvind Kejriwal is expected to start around 11 am on Saturday amidst a mammoth crowd at the Ramlila Maidan. This is the time when the day temperatures begin to peak and by the end of the ceremony the maximum would have recorded its highest level. So the weather during the day is definitely going to be very warm.
Though, shamianas are expected to be put up at the venue in order to provide relief to the public from the harsh sun, the arrangement is not likely to be enough for the hundreds and thousands of people expected to arrive at the venue. The availability of sufficient drinking water in the hot weather could also be of great concern.
So if you are going to be a witness to the ceremony, go prepared with at least drinking water and an umbrella.
