During the last 24 hours, the weather of entire Northwest India remained dry. In fact, the maximum temperatures increased by two to three degrees. The minimum temperatures also increased by a couple of degrees.
Now, we do not expect any weather activity over Northwest India until March 19. On March 20 and 21, we expect isolated light rains to commence over parts of Punjab and Haryana. But these rains will be mainly light and patchy. However, we do not expect much rain activities during this time as well. These rains will not have much effect on the temperatures.
So, in a nutshell, the weather will remain almost dry over Northwest India until March 22.
Meanwhile, temperatures will increase by three to four degrees in the coming days due to clear weather and bright sunshine.
As a matter of fact, the entire Northwest India has been receiving surplus rains since the start of the pre-Monsoon season. In fact, during the last few days, the intense weather activities led to crop damage over many parts of Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and some parts of North Rajasthan.
Yet another good spell of rains may appear over the region around March 23 or 24 in the wake of an upcoming strong Western Disturbance.
