Days after 515 people were killed in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, another earthquake jolted the region on Saturday. The local meteorological office recorded the intensity of the earthquake at 7.2 on the Richter scale. The epicentre of the quake was 150 kilometres southwest of the town of Khuzdar. At least 15 people have been killed in the quake.
Tremors were also felt in provincial capitals Karachi and Quetta. According to reports some homes that were damaged but still standing after Tuesday's quake had collapsed on Saturday.
Meanwhile, meteorologists say that such tremors might continue for weeks to come.
