Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore, Bhopal to continue with dry and hot weather

The performance of Southwest Monsoon from June to September for Gujarat was satisfactory, as the state received normal rains. On the other hand, the entire state of Madhya Pradesh witnessed rain deficiency of 20 percent.

In fact, since past many days, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh have been reeling under dry and very warm weather conditions and no significant rain activity was witnessed in both the regions.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, an anti-cyclone is lying over Rajasthan and Gujarat. Moreover, northerly winds are prevailing over both, Gujarat as well as Madhya Pradesh. These winds due to lack of moisture content are hot during day time, while cool during night hours.

As a result, days will be hot and dry with sunny sky over Ahmedabad in Gujarat with maximums settling around 38-39 degrees, while minimums near 23-24 degrees. Cities such as Gandhinagar, Banaskantha, Surat and Vadodara will witness similar weather conditions. Morning and nights are likely to be pleasant in the region excluding the southeastern districts of Gujarat that will be comfortable.

Likewise, Indore in Madhya Pradesh will observe very warm weather with day maximums of 35-36 degrees and minimum temperatures of 20-21 degrees. Cities that will reel under same weather conditions include Bhopal, Rewa, Satna, Gwalior and Ujjain. Here, morning and nights will be pleasant.
