Ever since the departure of Monsoon 2017 from the region, Gujarat and Rajasthan have been battling warm and dry weather conditions. Maximum temperatures have been settling in mid 30s over most parts of both the neighbouring states.
In fact, weathermen are not expecting any changes in the weather conditions for the next few days.
These persisting weather conditions can be attributed to the anti-cyclone marked over North Rajasthan and adjoining Madhya Pradesh. Due to this system, northwesterly winds are blowing across the region, which are dry and warm in nature.

In wake of these, rains have already been absent from the region for the last few days. In fact, we are not anticipating rains in the next few days.
In fact, few areas will also have to battle very warm days, especially parts of Saurashtra and Kutch region and South Rajasthan.

Places such asBhuj, Naliya, Idar, Mehsana,Patanof Gujarat and Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Barmer of Rajasthan would battle some hot afternoons.
Meanwhile, rest of the areas such as Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar,Bikaner, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar andRajkotwill observe warm and sunny weather.
However, mornings and nights will be cool and comfortable across the entire states of Rajasthan and Gujarat. North Rajasthan may also witness moderate to dense fog during the early morning hours.
