Delhi is bracing up for another round of rain on Thursday. According to our latest weather update, light rain in Delhi could occur on Thursday as the cyclonic circulation that will move to the region (northwest plains and adjoining areas) from southwest direction will usher in rain.

Last week a cyclonic circulation was supposed to give rain in Delhi but the weather system remained confined on the fringes and did not let precipitation happen. According to latest weather update by Skymet Meteorology Division in India, such conditions may again occur and rain will largely depend on the connection between the cyclonic circulation and a Western Disturbance which will make a passage during the same time over the Western Himalayan region. Till now, the movement suggests possibility of rain in Delhi on Thursday.

Weather in Delhi will be partly cloudy on Thursday which will be a relief from the rising maximum temperatures. According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, day temperatures may record above normal by Wednesday but a fall is expected on Thursday due to clouds and chances of rain. Delhi recorded a maximum of 22.8°C on Monday, two notches below normal. Night temperature in Delhi also increased marginally to recorded 10.3°C on Tuesday. Minimums may rise further as wind condition would largely be southwesterly.
