Until two days ago, Churu in Rajasthan had been on the top spot of being the coldest city in the country for the last many days. However, yesterday, the spot was swapped and briefly taken by the city of Hisar in Haryana. Yesterday Hisar's minimums settled at 6.3 degrees as compared to Churu which was at 6.5 degrees.
The lowest minimum was at 4.1 degrees in Churu on November 24. Today once again, Churu saw the minimum at 5.2 degrees Celsius whereas Hisar had the minimum settling at 6.3 degrees Celsius for the second consecutive day.
For the next few days, no major improvement in minimums is expected and they will continue to hover around this range in itself. Moreover, it looks like Churu will continue to see minimums lower than most parts of the plains in India.
