After giving heavy rains in Gujarat, low pressure to cause rains in Rajasthan

The Low Pressure Area which had been a fast moving system from its entry to the coast until the time it reached Maharashtra adjoining Madhya Pradesh. However, now, the system is almost stagnant and is expected to stay at one place for the next few days with very little movement.

In the last 24 hours, the system has given heavy to very heavy rains in many parts of Gujarat and some parts of Rajasthan have also seen rainfall activity. Now, the low pressure at present over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Rajasthan. The system is not shifting much and will not have much movement.

The confluence zone of this system will be over Southeast Rajasthan. Thus, cities including Bhilwara, Kota, Jalore, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Tonk and Sawai Madhopur may see heavy rainfall activity. Meanwhile, cities of Alwar, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Dhaulpur may also see rains but of lesser intensity.

Talking about Gujarat, Deesa, Idar, Mehsana, Sabarkantha will see heavy rainfall activity. Other parts of the state may see some rains. These rainfall activities are expected to be seen today, tomorrow and day after tomorrow i.e. between September 9 and 11.
