After Delhi, rains to now enthrall Jaipur

After drenching Delhi today morning, it is now Jaipur’s turn to get wet. At present, the city is recording thunderstorms and rains may begin any time now.

Rain bearing clouds have been hovering over the city since early morning hours. Nearby areas have already recorded few scattered showers. Few places could also record one or two spell of dust storm as well.

According to Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation over Northeast Rajasthan has now shifted towards eastern parts of the state and adjoining areas of Madhya Pradesh. The system has been infusing moisture over the city, making weather conditions conducive for some rain and thundershowers.

The cloudy weather has ushered in much needed relief from the above normal day maximums. At present, the state capital is recording maximum temperature of 27°C, which is below the normal average. And now in wake of these thundershowers, we do not expect temperatures to rise further.

Meanwhile, due to this persistent cloud cover, night temperatures will continue to settle above normal.

Weathermen predict that sky is likely to clear up by tomorrow, marking the return of clear weather and bright sunshine. With this, day maximum will once again start crawling back to normal average temperatures.
