A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to approach Northern Himalayas by tonight. Under the influence of this approaching system, the wind pattern is changing gradually over Delhi and NCR. The mid layer winds are already changing. Though in the lower levels, West northwesterly winds will continue for the day with moderate intensity.
Today, we can expect the day temperatures to rise further over Delhi and NCR. Day temperatures will remain around 18 degrees. Medium clouds will prevail at many places. Sky may become partly cloudy. Visibility will remain in moderate category throughout the day. Pollution level will also remain moderate. Minimums remained close to 5 degrees today morning. However, tomorrow both day and morning temperatures are expected to rise by one to two degrees.
We expect light fog to appear in parts of Delhi along with a cloudy sky tomorrow in the morning hours. Clouding will increase gradually towards evening as the Western Disturbance will move close to North Pakistan. Its induced system may form during the next 48 hours over Southwest Rajasthan. Due to this system, we expect rains over Delhi beginning from the night of January 12 and might last until January 14.
