As predicted by Skymet Weather, Telangana received moderate showers with one or two heavy spells during the last 24 hours. A few cities like that of Hyderabad received good rains and thundershower activities.
These rain activities are due to the formation of a Cyclonic Circulation over Andhra Pradesh and adjoining South coast of Odisha. This system is now moving inland, and its effect is being felt in terms of rain activities over Telangana. Now, we expect these rain activities to continue over Telangana for at least the next three to four days. But heavy to very spells of rain are being ruled out as of now.
Thereafter, a North-South Trough will form right from eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh up to Telangana. Thus, rain activities will increase further from July 23 onward. Good rains are expected to continue over many parts of the state until July 27.
So, we can say that now after a prolonged dry spell, Telangana is all set to receive good rains and thundershower activities throughout the next one week.
The remaining days of July will be the rainiest for Telangana. Although scattered light rains and thundershower activities were continuing over Telangana but now there will be a significant increase in these rain activities. Also, the rain deficiency of the state will come down to a significant level and the water scarcity problem can come down to a great extent.
