The rainfall activities have increased in the meteorological division of Vidarbha during the last 24 hours. Gadchiroli has recorded 6.2 mm of moderate rain during the same time frame from 8:30 am on Saturday.

These Monsoon showers have made the weather comfortable, with maximums and minimums settling around 25-degree Celcius.

At present, the city is experiencing overcast sky conditions with multi-layered clouds.

Talking about the weather system, a Low-Pressure Area is over the northern parts of Chhattisgarh and the adjoining region. This system would bring in an intermittent spell of moderate to heavy rains in many parts of Gadchiroli and adjoining region during the next 18 to 24 hours.

Thereafter, as the weather system would move away west/northwestwards, the rainfall activities would significantly reduce in Gadchiroli and the surrounding area and continue with the light intensity only.

Meanwhile, due to enough availability of moisture and the remnants of the Low-Pressure area, the day temperatures would start increasing gradually and settle around 28-degree Celcius.

Not only Gadchiroli, but many other parts of Vidarbha have been experiencing good rain and thundershower activities since the last two to three days. And with the system still persisting, more moderate to heavy showers would lash the region.
